Seems like a dumb question, huh? I personally would rather a donut any day over a biscuit.
As we were leaving church last night, I wanted a donut and coffee pretty bad, my son wanted donuts, and my husband couldn't care less. I decided to just go home since none of the donut shops were close to where we were.
This morning we still had the taste of a good donut in our mind. I knew we didn't have any donuts here, only a can of Grands biscuits. What in the world, who wants biscuits when you can taste a donut?
As my son prepped the biscuits, cutting out the center with a clean medicine cup, I got the oil ready. I believe my son thought his Mama had lost her mind. There was a bit of disbelief that regular biscuits could actually be tasty donuts. It's in your perspective.
Austin was actually amazed that the biscuits were looking more like donuts before his eyes. We added powdered sugar, and tasted the treasure a biscuit and sugar can hold. He definitely sees biscuits in a different light now.
He could have said he didn't want to try the different way to get a donut because it wasn't normal or different to him. If he had decided not to try it he would have missed out on a great treat.
What is your perspective? Has God asked you to do something different? Can you see the donut in the biscuit? Does He want you to make donuts from biscuits and you can't see the outcome being what you want? I say jump in and trust Him. If you don't you WILL be missing out on a treat straight from God.
God bless...
