That is soooo true. We want to 'glamourize" everything .. even missions. AS if you can serve where you are at, but must go to the depths of Africa in order to be a missionary!
If you can share the gospel where you are at, How can you possibly share it in a different culture?
I totally agree.
It would even be harder trying to witness in a second unfamiliar language.
Another thought...
America needs all the missionaries we can get as it is.
